AAMET – Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques

AAMET is the largest professional EFT Association worldwide. Founded in 1999, it promotes and upholds standards of training for EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), AAMET is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation working to effectively serve its members, including EFT students, practitioners and trainers. AAMET seeks to uphold high standards for EFT training, to promote ethical practice, to support its members and to forge links with other professional organisations.

ABC – ABC Awards

ABC Awards is a leading national awarding organization, which develops diverse, high-quality vocational qualifications for all ages and abilities.

AOR – Association of Reflexologists

The AOR is the foremost aspirational and independent Professional Reflexology Association in the UK since 1984, providing benefits, advice and guidance to reflexologists and working with other external bodies and advisory groups to promote the highest standards in the profession.

BACP – British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP’s primary purpose is to support counsellors and help them better serve their clients. BCMA – British Complementary Medicine Association

The BCMA is an international umbrella organisation for the benefit of therapists and their clients. It validates therapies and their standards of training in accordance with its codes of ethics and discipline, shares ideas and resources and encourages freedom of expression.

BCS – Bereavement Counselling Service

The BCS is a charity which offers specialist bereavement counselling in response to complicated grief and traumatic loss. Our therapists have specialist knowledge, training and experience and work under regular professional supervision.
The BCS is based in Plymouth (UK) and is partially funded by the Clinical Commissioning Group which covers Plymouth and some of Devon. With fund raising support it is possible for some clients to receive their counselling without charge.

CIOL – Chartered Institute of Linguists

The CIOL is the pre-eminent UK-based professional membership body for language practitioners. It aims to enhance and promote the value of languages and language skills in the public interest and provides accredited qualifications through the IoL Educational.

FHT – Federation of Holistic Therapists

GHSC – General Hypnotherapy Standards Council

The GHSC and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy and together present an exemplary model for the simultaneous protection of the public and the provision of practitioner credibility and services

IICT – International Institute for Complementary Therapists

The IICT offers professional membership and insurance for every therapist.

INHA – International Natural Healers Association

THE INHA helps holistic practitioners grow and become successful in their healing practice.

NLPTA – International Neuro-Linguistic Programming Trainer’s Association

INLPTA facilitates the alignment of professional NLP trainers around the world in the ethical and professional use of NLP. INLPTA has members on all five continents who have agreed upon Certification Standards in the Training of NLP. All of its members are NLP Trainers who have graduated from the most rigorous Trainer Training available. They have agreed on standards of ethics, professionalism and competence in the training of NLP. Their syllabus for NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Trainings is updated yearly and includes both the classic and new cutting edge developments in NLP.

UKRF – UK Reiki Federation

UKRF is an independent federation of individuals who have been attuned to Reiki, with the objective of providing support and guidance to Reiki Professionals and to the public, with particular reference to education and training, and the public practice of Reiki.

VTCT – Vocational Training Charitable Trust

VTCT is a Government-approved awarding organisation which has awarded world class qualifications since 1962 and has been at the forefront of developing the vocational system of qualifications in the United Kingdom ever since.
