This pack provides you with all the information you need to book a workshop or course with Suzi Garrod.
Booking Instructions
Please read the attached terms & conditions and then return your completed booking form to the address below (with deposit/full payment). If you prefer you can fill in the booking form electronically and email it to me; your printed name in the signature box will be accepted as an electronic signature.
Please retain a copy of all information as the booking form, and any accompanied payment, forms a contract between you and Suzi Garrod. I apologise for the somewhat lengthy terms & conditions, unfortunately they are required by my indemnity insurance company.

All correspondence from Suzi Garrod will be by email unless you specify otherwise on the booking form. Please ensure you provide a valid email address.
Payments
All booking forms should be either sent to correspondence address above, or submitted online via the website. Payment for the non-refundable 50% deposit or the full workshop/course amount can be made by cash, cheque or bank payment (BACS or Paypal).
If you would like discuss a payment plan, please contact me.
Places on workshops/courses are limited and cannot be guaranteed until a 50% deposit or full fee has been received.
Payments received will be confirmed by email. Receipts are only sent on request. If the booking is cancelled by the client for any reason the following charges will be applied:
- Deposits for all courses and workshops are non-refundable.
- Cancellation less than 4 weeks before course commencement will incur 75% of the course fee.
- Failure to complete the course will result in the full fee becoming due.
Under exceptional circumstances Suzi Garrod reserves the right to cancel any course for whatever reason and return monies paid without further liability. You are advised to have your own appropriate insurance in case you have to cancel a course place. Monies paid for a course place that is oversubscribed will be refunded in full. Suzi Garrod Terms and Conditions
The following information should be read carefully before booking any workshop/course/bespoke session with Suzi Garrod. Upon completion, submission and acceptance in writing of the booking forms, the clients/participants named on the booking form will have entered into a binding contract on the basis of the following terms &conditions:
1. Agreement
Any agreement based on these outlined terms and conditions arises upon the fulfilment of the following:
a) Receipt and clearance in Suzi Garrod’s bank account of:
- full payment or deposit as detailed in section 2 below
- a fully completed booking form
- acceptance by Suzi Garrod in writing
b) The signature on the booking form is taken as the client attending the workshop/course/bespoke session.
c) The agreement is between Suzi Garrod and the client(s) on the booking form and is the sole agreement between those parties.
d) Suzi Garrod reserves the right to refuse bookings to any party or individual without the need to give reasons, solely at Suzi Garrod’s discretion. In the event of such a refusal Suzi Garrod will return any payment accompanying the booking form.
e) No variation of these terms and conditions shall be applicable unless agreed in writing by Suzi Garrod before the relevant workshop/course/bespoke client session.
2. Payment
Unless a payment plan has been agreed by both parties (i.e. the client and Suzi Garrod) then the balance of the fees as specified on the booking form must be paid in full by the date specified on the booking form; or, if no date is specified, no later than 4 weeks before the course.
If not so paid, Suzi Garrod, reserves the right to treat the agreement as cancelled by the client(s) pursuant to clause 4 below.
A booking made within 4 weeks of the course commencement must be accompanied by payment in full, unless a separate payment plan has been agreed by both parties.
3. Prices
Whilst every effort is made to limit prices to those given on the booking form, Suzi Garrod reserves the right to alter prices should the costs in hosting a course increase for reasons beyond her reasonable control.
In the event that a price is altered the client(s) will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
The balance of the altered price will be payable on the same terms as the original price.
In the event of the price being increased by 15% or more the client may opt to cancel the booking, and will be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.
4. Cancellation by client
If the booking is cancelled by the client for any reason the following charges will be applied:
Cancellation more than 8 weeks before the commencement of the course, will result in the deposit being retained; it can however be transferred to another course/workshop/bespoke client session (subject to availability).
Cancellation 4-8 weeks before course/workshop/bespoke client session commencement will lead to the loss of the deposit. Cancellation less than 4 weeks before course/workshop/bespoke client session commencement will lead to 75% of the total fee being payable.
5. Cancellation by Suzi Garrod
In the event that Suzi Garrod cancels a course, all monies will be refunded in full or, if preferred, transferred as a deposit for another course. Please note that Suzi Garrod requires a minimum number of clients to run a workshop/course. Suzi Garrod reserves the right to cancel all and any bookings without reason or notice. Under these unlikely circumstances Suzi Garrod agrees to repay in full all and any deposits of course fees to the clients.
6. Client Conduct
Clients are expected:
- to behave in a reasonable manner at all times.
- to be respectful of the other participants on the course/workshop.
- to be respectful of the premises in which the course/workshop is being held.
- to be respectful of any other events/treatment sessions that may be taking place elsewhere on site.
Suzi Garrod reserves the right to remove any client(s) from the workshop/course/bespoke client session without recourse to repayment for said workshop/course/bespoke client session.
Circumstances that may warrant exclusion from a workshop/course/bespoke client session include (without limitation):
- Intoxication
- Use of recreational drugs
- Abusive or disrespectful behaviour
Should any party be removed under such conditions, Suzi Garrod will not be liable for any losses incurred as a result and is also entitled to any reasonable costs arising from removal of the party involved.
7. Insurance
Suzi Garrod is covered to a level of £4,000,000 for public liability for all of the following therapies:
Soul Midwifery, Counselling, Life Coaching, Meditation, Reiki (both practitioner and teacher), Sound Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Past Life Regression, Ayurvedic Massage and Reflexology.
A copy of this liability insurance and any certificates of qualification are available on request.
Clients are advised to provide their own personal insurance cover. For international courses clients are advised to also ensure full coverage against cancellation of a course.
8. Liability
Suzi Garrod is not responsible for loss or damage to the personal property of the client (including vehicles).
The client recognises that attendance of a Suzi Garrod course/workshop in no way qualifies him/her to teach the course content. It is not intended that any techniques taught on a course will in any way qualify those clients to instruct any third party, and no warranty is made to that effect.
(Exception to above: Reiki practitioners who have qualified as Reiki Master Teachers following a course of study with Suzi Garrod will receive a certificate stating that they are qualified to teach).
Suzi Garrod hereby excludes any liability it might have to any third party in respect of any loss or damage suffered or incurred by that third party, in its reliance on any skills taught by any client(s) on the basis of having attended a Suzi Garrod workshop/course/bespoke client session.
9. Copyright of materials
Any notes, handouts or manuals produced by Suzi Garrod and given out during any of workshop/course/bespoke client session are copyrighted and may not be copied or duplicated in any way except with permission from the author. All rights are reserved.
10. Complaints
In the unlikely event that a client has cause for complaint about a Suzi Garrod workshop/course, the complaint should, in the first instance, be made during the event to enable corrective action to be taken if necessary. The client acknowledges that it is unreasonable to not raise an issue during a course and then complain later. Should a problem not be resolved satisfactorily during the workshop/course, a complaint should be made in writing within 28 days or the complaint will not be upheld.
