Holistic Health Therapies

Mindfulness Meditation
Learning to practice mindfulness and meditation often leads to the discovery of an inner strength and resourcefulness that helps us make better, wiser decisions. It can reduce stress and anxiety, by teaching us to focus on the present moment – instead of dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
I teach a range of Mindfulness and Meditation techniques, including breath work, to help you move towards a place of inner peace and acceptance.
Reiki
A gentle, yet powerful, energy-based therapy which supports your body’s own natural balancing and self-healing abilities. Reiki promotes harmony and homeostasis within the mind and body, generating a feeling of deep relaxation and well-being.
As well as offering individual treatments, I also run regular training courses in Usui Reiki Levels 1, 2 and 3. Refresher Courses for each level (in small groups or on a 1:1 basis) are offered as required and there is a monthly Reiki Circle available for Reiki students and practitioners.
Sound Healing
This therapy uses the soothing vibrations of tuning forks, chimes, singing bowls and music to bring about deep relaxation, clear energetic blockages, and restore the body, mind and spirit to a state of harmony and balance.
Sound Therapy is interwoven throughout all of Suzi’s therapies and forms a core part of her End-of-Life and Bereavement work. She teaches her clients how to use the tuning forks for themselves, so that they can relax and balance their own energy levels and actively participate in their therapeutic process.
Reflexology
This therapy applies firm pressure to reflex points on feet or hands to deeply relax and regulate the body’s energy system. Stimulating the meridian channels via the reflex points helps the body bring itself back into balance, release pain and promote self-healing. For palliative reflexology sessions, a lighter, more gentle touch pressure is applied.
I also teach Reflexology techniques for end-of-life care to therapists, as well as carers, and also run Sound Reflexology (using tuning forks) as part of my series of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) workshops.
